All 50-minute therapy sessions are charged as follows:
Individual online
Individuals referred by professionals or corporate bodies (i.e. solicitors, Employee Assistance Programmes, GPs, NHS)
Individuals referred by or via a third party agent (i.e. Aliance Health, Aviva, AXA, Vitality Health, Bupa)

Session paid by agent, unless there is a shortfall below the standard fee payment of £75 due to the terms and conditions of your policy. Then the remainder of the session fee may be charged to you directly to make up the difference.

Payments are accepted via electronic bank transfer (BACS or faster payments).
Other methods of payment can be discussed and agreed.
Length of Sessions
There may be some treatment plans which necessitate longer sessions (up to 1.5 hours per session). This can sometimes apply to post traumatic stress disorder and its treatment, but also obsessive-compulsive disorder. Narrative Exposure Therapy as a treatment for complex trauma can sometimes necessitate longer sessions. The cost of these sessions will be amended in proportion to the agreed 50 minute session rate.
Any changes to the length of sessions and also the duration of treatment will be part of the discussions we will have at the beginning of therapy following full assessment.
Cancellation of Sessions
Please note that at least 24 hours’ notice is required if you need to cancel an appointment. Alternative appointment days or times may be offered if there is availability that week. There will be a charge for last minute cancellations or any missed appointments. Cancellations without sufficient notice (less than 24 hours) will be charged at half the cost of the normal session. If your insurance company is funding your therapy, they may ask you to meet that cost yourself, and/or you may lose the session altogether.
